First trip to Oregon

Here’s a great picture of Jessie during our very first trip (together) to Oregon. We came out to visit graduate schools and drove on the old highway from Portland to points east. I still remember staying over night in Bingen and having lunch in Hood River. Who dreamed that a short 3 years later, we would be living in The Hood, and 5 years later we’d be buying our first house there!
