Positively Glorious!

So, am I just that lame? I was planning on doing NaBlaPoMo in January and missed the first day! Then, I thought to myself, well, that’s alright, I’ll post every other day just for myself.

Uh, riiight.

Now it’s January 8th and I have- oh this makes two- posts. That’s like 25%. Gah!

Whahappin?

Well, I’d like to say I got really busy. But it’s not quite that. It’s mostly that I’ve ended up avoiding the computer at home and spending a lot of time on the couch next to Jessie playing a pennywhistle, or in the kitchen with her making dinner. It’s actually been quite nice, but it means that my #afterhours projects are suffering.

Although, if one has to suffer, I think that side projects are a good martyr for marriage. Probably good to take some time now and then to just chill. Makes the whole question of “When are we going to become independently wealthy” return a bit of a different answer, but money’s not everything.

So, no NaBlaPoMo for me in January. I blew it. But that’s alright. For now, at least, I like it better this way. We’ll see what next week brings.
